Research Study

Pankaj's involvement helps students in this course obtain an improved understanding of real-world e-business applications. Pankaj would appreciate it if you would help him in his research by participating in a research study that he is conducting. This study seeks to compare some approaches for business modeling with respect to criteria such as time spent and perceived difficulty. Your names won't be linked to anything. Pankaj has conducted such a study previously, which was an integral part of a research paper that has gone through peer review. This study too should help advance his doctoral research.

Participation in the study is voluntary, though appreciated. Please review the officially approved consent form. If you decide to give consent, can send an email to Pankaj and Guangchao (address above) with the following words. This consent will cover B3 and B4.

I have received a copy of the Informed Consent form for the study: "A
Study of Business Process Modeling Approaches." I have read and
understand the information provided in that form. I agree to
participate in this study with the understanding that I may choose not
to participate or to stop participating at any time without penalty or
loss of benefits to which I am otherwise entitled.

If you do not wish to participate in the study, let Pankaj and Guangchao know. They will assign an alternative task for you to substitute for participation in the study. You will have to complete the main project deliverables regardless.
