Abstract
This paper concerns the task of introducing software reliability measurement and methodologies into an organization that previously had no experience with Software Reliability Engineering (SRE). The introduction process will consist of a survey of the organization’s current software development practices, choosing an application to demonstrate some SRE practices, performing a limited set of SRE practices on that application and an analysis of the results of the SRE analysis to the results of the application’s gathered metrics. The organization is involved in providing custom solutions for problems in the practice of medicine.
